Open Game Night
Wednesday Sep 15, 5:00 PM
We are a group of Decatur area game players, looking to Meetup with other gamers.
We host two "official" Meetups per month - the First Saturday or Sunday and the Third Wednesday of every month. Everyone is welcome to attend these "Open Game Nights," we will have games available for you to try, or you can bring your own to share!
There are no dues to join Decatur Gamers, but we do ask for a $1 to $2 donation per Meetup that you attend to help cover costs. We also have a Donate button via PayPal.
Most of our events are family-friendly (we'll let you know in advance if it's not!), so bring the spouse, kids, mom & dad - whomever likes to play games!
DON'T BE SHY! Even if you have no idea how to play a game we're playing, just let us know - we are happy to teach you!
We're friendly, easy to get along with, and fun! Join us!

If it's a game, we probably play it. =)
Please note that we don't try to play ALL of these games at our Meetup, we usually just form groups and play. It's easy! And if you have something you would like to share, bring it with you!
“ I was really excited to get to meet some new gamers and have the opportunity to play with another group of dnd fans outside of what I normally do. ”
“ I'll be back. ”
You can join groups on Meetup using your Facebook account.
"So who has some free time for gaming? Hmmm?"
"I met with the students and they gladly took on our request to redesign our logo plus one for Decatur Con! I project having over a dozen entries as they compete to design the best set of logos...."
"If you ever want to try a RPG close to reality, try with Jeff Jones group. The people are a little zany, but I have to say Jeff keeps it close to real. I use to play Warhammer, still have my wood elf army somewhere."
"I will meet with the students tomorrow and the goals are still as above but Chris suggested asking for them to make a logo for the Decatur Con also."
