You and your adventuring companions have spent all day slogging through the Dungeon, killing monsters and taking their stuff. Now you're back in town, healed up, cleaned up, and ready to party at the Red Dragon Inn.
Drink, gamble, and roughhouse with your friends. But don't forget to keep an eye on your Gold. If you run out, you'll have to spend the night in the stables. Oh... and try not to get too beaten up or too drunk. If you black out, your friends will continue the party without you... after they loot your body for Gold of course!
The last conscious adventurer with Gold wins the game!
If you've not played Red Dragon Inn, you can read more about the game here: http://boardgamegeek....
------------------------------------------
This game is the REAL Red Dragon Inn - we will be playing the game, but with real money and drink!
How it will work:
- All players will donate $10.00 to the Decatur Gamers for a seat at the table.
- Players will bring their own alcoholic beverage of their choice. Each time they are required to "drink a drink" in-game, they will take a swig of their own brew.
- Gameplay will proceed as normal per the RDI rules*, and the last player standing wins!
- The winner will be given a special prize by the Inn.
I will be playing the role of innkeeper. As such, I will retain the money, coins (bank), and be the final rules judge. That means that EIGHT other people can belly up to the table. We will use a double-blind method of choosing characters - it will be completely random. No whining about your character or I'll have Gog toss you to the stables!
What kind of adult beverage should you bring? Whatever you like. I don't care - it's all for fun effect, not to get anyone wasted. Just remember - it's YOUR responsibility to get yourself home intact.
Josh Chestnut has graciously offered his home in Decatur as our Inn location. There will be additional tables and games, so even if you're not into Red Dragon Inn, you can still come and play. As players are removed from the Inn, they can play other games, or join the minstrels on stage (Josh has a 106" projector and Rock Band...)! This is intended to be more than just a game, it is a party event! As such, we are limiting this event to grown-ups, please.
The RSVP limit is for the RED DRAGON INN game. Everyone is still welcome to come and play other games or just hang out with us! If you want to bring drinks/snacks to share, that's fine too.
*There will be one rule modification right off the bat - all players will start with 15 gold (instead of the standard 10). This is because we are playing with 8 people (not 4), and it will help to balance the game.

Don't worry, we will explain how it is played. If you want to play the drinking version, don't forget to bring some booze! And friends always welcome!
Um...I've never played RDI before so this is gonna be fun. Also I'm bringing a friend, hope that's okay.
North side. Blue two story. We'll have to do a lot of parking on the road. I can probably fit 3 or 4 cars in drive, the rest will need to park along the road.
Is your house on the north or south side of road?
Chairs taken care of.
I have a table, but the chairs have been kidnapped...I have a couple camping folding chairs, but they need a cleaning--it was raining last time I went camping.
Ok, I need a lil help here. Can anyone bring four folding/stacking chairs with them?
You just have to ask the right people.
Heh... I don't have all the ingredients for "special" cookies... and I don't think Walmart has everything in stock ;)
I can make freezer space for yummies :D
Are those the "special" cookies?
I was thinking about bringing some cookies too... possibly those chocolate chip ones that I brought to the first Pathfinder.
Ok, food wise I have Doritos, Gardetto's, crackers and a cheese ball and Pringles. I am also making some cookie-type treats. Josh, do you have any freezer space?
@Matt. That makes two of us :/
I so wish I could come to this.
Pizza is always good. I'll be happy to bring some snack-like items and soda, too.
I like the Little Caesar's idea, but would be willing to cook something if needed.
Why not a Little Caesar's Pizza run? $5.50 per pizza which could be split between people. Plus, I have a card that allows me to get breadsticks with each pizza ordered.
Its not wife aggro, its daughter aggro. And I would bring my daughter, but she'd beat all of us and I'd feel bad
Hey, Steve. If you're drawing wife agro... invite her along and turn it into a night out of the house for both of you. :)
