The last chapter of this saga our characters took on a 100 mile inland trip to a mining town, hoping to exchange for precious metals and gems. The "town" is actually a slave colony that strated with the enslavement and eventual demise of almost the entire gnomish population. The trip is risky as there are no other humans, other than a couple towns and outposts for hundreds of miles.

Matt's brave (foolish?) actions saved a captured caravan guard from certain (ahem!) upleastent death, but at the hands of the devilsh pashta. But not all went well, refusing to trade a large portion of their goods for safe travel, they brought down upon themselves the attack of the humanoid bandits. They made it to their destination without their beasts of burden and without 1/4 of their wagons.

What can they expect to happen in the mining town? Will they be able to conduct their business quickly and head safely back to port?
