Fantasy Hero: The Butterfly Effect

Why can't our heroes just have a simple life? As new merchants they got off to a good start. With money flowing into their coffers they were ready to start enjoying the simple life of the wealthy. But at their first port they encountered two different sets of murders. What is afoot? Is it the previous captain of the ship they captured? Is it the beautiful slave who begged the characters to help her escape? Whatever the cause, a dark mood has descended as the adventurers start the second leg of their merchant voyage with one of the members left behind to an unknown fate.

New players are welcome, we have plenty of opportunities for people to join into the fun.

Chris...the answer is YES. This is very easy. There are a couple colorful NPCs (an ex smuggler and there is a mumbo-jumbo mystic with some colorful past) that are running with the group AND their characters hired some of their old military buddies as marines.

Cool. I can't make this week, but I am thinking perhaps the session after that. If you have a pregen in mind that would fit in nicely, that would work for me.

No problem Matt. I know there was a problem with the email. You may want to give me your email on Tuesday. No, your character is not the one MIA.

Last time we went into town and Tavish stopped this cute girl from being beat up and told her to meet him on our boat. The girl was owned by a very wealthy man, so your character and Jake's were like "turn her in", and my character who is not the most comfortable with women was all like do what you will with her, just get that lady off of our boat. So Tavsh's only recourse was to paddle he to safety with a plan to meet us down the cost, but we could not find him.

I was hoping this week. I was planning to use the library but Rick told me it closes at 8pm. I need to find out about the cafeteria, how late it is open....or we will need to go with some other plan...not sure which.

Rick would have of a more official answer, but... my understanding is that while the library itself closes at 8pm, we are OK with being in the cafe area later than that (til like 9). That's what we do on our Open Game Nights, and so far security has been fine with us being there.

The road was paved with good intentions and after much toil and conflict, the players made it to the mining town. A person saved and a wagon lost heroism has its own rewards and cost. Now they made it to Hokar, what awaits them there.
