Open Gaming at Godfather's Pizza

Godfather's Pizza (map)

Selected By: Matt W.

This is our monthly "Open Gaming at Godfather's Pizza!" event. Bring a game to share, or just play something new! Food/drink will be ala cart, ie everyone is on their own for food - it's a buffet! This event is open to everyone - new members, experienced gamers, friends, family, zombies. No, wait, scratch that last one.

Hope to see you there!

I haven't attended one of these yet? What are y'all playing these days?

It's just random as to what people will bring. I've stopped bringing anything myself since others always have new, sometimes unplayed, games. I've gotten to try several new games recently at Godfathers and they've all been good.

Jered, don't let anxiety get the best of you. It's a friendly group. Heck, at one time, almost all of us were strangers.

Godfathers is a great place to meet us. As Chris said, we were all strangers to each other once. I was actually a shy person and nervous about going to my first meetup. Now, just ask the rest, I think we all fit together nicely. So come on out, worst case scenario is you get some good food!

I'd be interested in seeing what you all are about, but I work in Springfield. At 5:00, I'm still in Springfield.

We are there til 9 or 930. They close at 9 but let us stay til 930 usually. Gaming doesn't usually start til 6 anyway. There is also almost always some of us playing shorter 1-2 hour games

Yeah, don't let the 5PM start time worry you. If you can make it at 6 or even 7pm, you would still have time to get a game on.
And @Jered, we're gamers, we're all introverts. It's our nature. We understand social anxiety. :)

I'd like to go tomorrow night, but will not have a vehicle. Is there anyone going that wouldn't mind picking me up? I live in the South Shores area, not sure if I'm on anyone's path to pizza and gaming goodness.

I just saw this Katie, I could pick you up around 4:15 or so if that would work better. Not trying to intrude on Stephanie, of course, just saying I could :)

Krystle and I had a blast. After all, it's not everyday you get to bang other people! Thanks for the warm welcome and will most likely be there Saturday.

Sounds like everyone had fun! I'm sorry I missed it. I was otherwise occupied.
