Announcing a new Meetup for Decatur Gamers!
What: Battles of the American Civil War (Volley and Bayonet)
When: Saturday, July 17, 2010 9:30 AM

Come join us for some miniature war game action, where we'll pit the Blue versus Gray as they both battle over Champions Hill.
Champions Hill is one of the important battles of the Civil War. This is the last point the Confederates could have stopped Grant before he could bottle up Vicksburg where along with Gettysburg, the USA turned the tide on the 87th anniversary of our Independence.
This game will be played using the Volley & Bayonet rules from GDW. You do not have to have prior experience to miniatures war gaming to play this game, the rule set is easy to learn, and we will patiently teach new players.
You don't need to bring anything but a willingness to learn and play!
