What kind of layout are the Springhill suites rooms?

Two doubles or queens and a pull out couch, small fridge/microwave. Not as nice as the Homewood Suites I stayed at, but cheaper and closer to con. And according to the email blast I just got, many of the RPGs and the open gaming it as the JW complex.

I have reserved a room at Springhill Suites for the night of August 2. I'm hoping if I get a room for Springhill in the housing block, they will just let me keep the same room so I dont have to pack everything up again.
For those who havent made a hotel choice yet, you might want to give this hotel a look. Josh checked on the block price for a 2 queen/pull out sofa suite and it is $188 (around $220 with taxes) a night. Max occupancy is 5 people, and each room has a mini fridge, microwave and free wireless. The Springhill is part of the new JW Marriot complex, across the street from the convention center and it connected to it by a "hamster tube." Edited by Chris Baker on Jan 10, 2011 11:28 PM |

Hey, I have a friend that bought the VIG pass and so he has access to the Passkey system. If anyone is curious what kind of rooms are available at specific hotels and/or pricing, let me know and I will ask him to check.

As a reminder, the Gen Con housing block opens January 25 (next Tuesday!), so if you are thinking about going, better think fast if you want something downtown!
