It’s almost April and in Gibson City (my home town) mean that mean the Harvest Moon Drive in will be opening soon. I was wondering if anyone would have any interest in having a drive inn meet up. Gibson City is about an hour and fifteen minutes away which is a little far but tickets are only $6 apiece. If there is any interest let me know

If it's a drive-in meetup we're considering, might I suggest Route 66 Drive In in Springfield? It's a little closer (45 min). $7/person for 2 movies (double-feature). They are opening on weekends only in April & May, and during the summer they're open all week.
We're always up for a drive-in movie, and I'd like to check out Harvest Moon sometime, but my first preference is Route 66. |

It is a good idea Evan, I would like to see a group of DCers hang out at a drive in. (Submarine race watching optional) :P

Maybe we could do meet ups for both at different times over the summer?
Evan could host a Harvest Moon meetup, and someone else could host a "Route 66" meetup? The hard thing about Route 66 is that you don't really know what's playing until the Thursday before the weekend.... |

The hard thing about Route 66 is that you don't really know what's playing until the Thursday before the weekend.... Yeah thats a bummer, but on the upside Golden Corral is close by no matter what the movie :P |
