I'm most interested in FFGs Living Card Game a Game of Thrones. Non random card packs and no rarities. And based on some sweet books.

I'd be much more willing to go this way.

Ha ha.....Red or Blue its up to you.......to follow Alice if you wish

I've played the game for eleven years now and I have no regrets

If you can't find a reason to go over the top check out EDH/Commander its an even better way to play and easier on the wallet plus its easier to get multiplayer games going.

If there are several people interested you can also get a CUBE together to draft with. You and others would work on getting the cards together for it and draft whenever you wanted. I would be interested in getting it together. It would be much better investment long term than a box and if your not interested in actually collecting or playing in tournaments this is the best option I think.

Cube can be really fun but its so hard to get a dedicated group of 5+ people in this town.

In the next week or so I am going to set up an informal meetup. At this point....no tournament, no buying and opening cards...just get together and play.

Sounds cool Jeff!
I used to collect too, but got out of it like Matt,
I just built two to three decks Im happy with and just piddle.
Kathy has and Angel deck she adds as she get cards but, we only buy a few cards a year.
I think the next fun thing to do outside of a normal play day, is to have a booster tournament.
Everyone has basic cards, but you have to be good at deck building to stay a float. :)

I am still planning on doing something...the weather has been too nice for me to go forward with this.. I think with the time change and some other things coming down it will make sense for me to get this started.

If people want to play a booster tournament..I am cool with that but i am NOT buying any more cards for now. (other than possibly a few black cards)..and I don't plan to buy any more cards for quite a long long time, I will leave that to somebody else to set up.

I am still learning the game and just want to play reasonable games against reasonable people using reasonable cards....I just want to play quick games that fit within the MODERN.
