So I went kayaking for the first time over a Turkey Run State Park, Indiana, and loved it! I want to go back in the spring.

What are the chances anyone else would be interested in this?

I have been hiking at Turkey Run but that was 14 years ago, I think. Never been boating, kayaking, or canoeing. I did sit in a boat on Crystal lake but I doubt that can really be classified as an experience. So, i'd be interested. But shouldn't this be a discussion for that other group? Heh.

My family would participate. This would also be a chance for us to do some Geocaching, which we've been talking about for awhile.

Hmmm... Instead of kayaking can I just float down the river in a tube with a cooler? :D

Or a raft works well. They dont tip very easy and you can put a cooler in it. We could even plan for more than 1 day and camp.

Yes, they have floats as well, but the kayaks rule! And this is coming from someone who cannot swim and thus is a bit fearful of water.

I'd prefer to go on weekdays before school gets out. The creek is choked with boats and floats on the weekends.
