Anyone interested in forming a Decatur Gamers kin on LOTRO? I know there are more than a few of us that play, and I'd be willing to start another toon or transfer or whatever to get a kin together. I have all my toons but two on Brandywine. I have two on Landroval

I could start another character as I have only one now. I wouldn't mind trying a different class. However, my main concern would be that I don't play a ton every week, so not sure I could keep up, unless we actually schedule playtime.

I don't play that much either, but it would be kind of neat to have a kin night once in a while where we all get on a help each other out

Mrs says I can play. Though I hope to have a good portion of my time with Hex and D&D 4ed <the not so subtle hint> heh

Tell me a server so I can start to grind out a loremaster, or a direct damage caster <if there is one>

I'm game for either starting on Brandywine (where the highest I have is level 30) or another server where I have no toons so we all start at basically the same place

OK, here are the questions to consider...

1) What server?
2) New characters only?
3) Play as a group all the time, or just group together when we can?
4) What classes? What crafting abilities?

I don't really care what server. I'd like to start with brand new characters so that we're all on the same level. I'd be happy to make it so that we group together, IE, we're all doing the same quests at the same time. That would mean that it's paramount that we have a good mix of character classes and crafting abilities so that we compliment each other.

One thing. DG is meant to be a "face to face" gaming group. I certainly don't mind if we play an MMORPG, but we need to make sure it doesn't dominate our time and discussions.

Oh I agree 100% about this being a face to face group. And I agree with Ant about hoping to have some of my free time taken up by 4e DnD (hint hint). But there are more than a few of us that play LOTRO and I thought it would be kind of neat to have a kin we could all be members of. I don't really care about having everyone the same level with all their characters, but I think we should each maybe designate a character to be a group character that plays on certain nights when the rest of the group is online.

I'm for play as a group when we can, set aside one character to be the group character. Other than that, feel free to do what you want with other characters. They can be in the kin or whatever you want to do with them. Myself, I'd say lets look at either Brandywine or Landroval since that seems to be where the most of us that currently play are.
