Paul Vinton of the Central Illinois Amigos has offered to demo a game of Warhammer. This would be a "beginner" game (ie, even if you've never played, the rules will be explained to you), but anyone is welcome, even experienced players.
Need to determine a DAY and TIME. So, sound off - who wants to play and when? |

I'd give it a try. If I liked it, I still have a Warhammer starter box from years back with small armies for the Bretonnians and Skinks.

Sounds like fun, wouldn't mind to learn Warhammer.

I'll try to run by RCC on the 15th and meet whoever is there,
I work dayshift right now, one weekend a month I have Guard though. So most nights are good, some weekends are not. For an introductory game, we could go low points levels to make the game fast and easy. I have enough figs for probably everyone! |

Paul, that sounds great! However, we've changed the venue on the 15th to the DECATUR CLUB. Hope you can make it.

I already set the night down,
Still have to run by the college and get my Veterans Grant paperwork done, then I'll run by the Club. What floor is it on? For the Warhammer game, it might be good if we did the "Warbands" approach, low points games that go fast and are a lot of fun. We could have several games going at once! Probably the meeting after the 15th? |

Third floor, in the library. We'll have to set a date, lets discuss on the 15th.
Thanks! |

Hey warhammer is alot like Mechwarrior dark age. anyone play that by chance. i realy wanna play again. used to win tourneys at rootbeer commics years ago. and if people are willing to play then i would be willing to contact WizKidz and register to become a game master so we could host tourneys with prizes. I would need to get like 20 or so figures so i could play again. but i just wanna see if anyone is into this stuff b4 i respend the money.

Hey Ben. I know that there has been some interest in such games in the past. My recommendation would be to post this as an Idea and see how much interest you get.
