I see Rick is running a game there. Anyone else going? I am thinking I may want to this year and check it out--I've never been.

It is October 2-4 in Bloomington, IL. Attendance is usually in the 400+ range. The event list is a little weak at the moment, but based on the attendance of the event, I'm guessing its going to get better. I figured I might want to give it a shot considering how geographically close it is.

I highly recommend this convention. The convention center has tons of space for open gaming. Plus there are plenty of food establishments to grab something to eat. If you get the chance, I would check it out. Word through the local gaming grape vine is that this will probably be Flatcon's last year at this convention center.

If anyone is interested in carpooling, let me know. I'll bring it up at the mini-con next week to see if we can form a caravan.

I've gone every year for the last few years. It's my second favorite local con next to winter war. I'm going all three days. Hope to see plenty fellow DGs there. :)

Sunday Oct 4 would be our regular Game Day. How about we make the Meetup a "road trip" to Flatcon for any who want to go?
