Come join us for spooky gaming, costumes, and candy!
Halloween Meetup!

This is our first (of what I hope to be) annual Halloween Party Meetup! Dress up in your favorite costume (if you wish), and come play Halloween themed games (Munchkin Bites, Are You A Werewolf?, Zombies!, Arkham Horror, Fury of Dracula, and more!).

We will be meeting at The Decatur Club, downtown Decatur, at around 6:00PM and we'll go til we're done, or until we get kicked out.

DJ Jazzy Scott (Rueter) has volunteered to provide music at the event, so in addition to regular gaming this will be a social event. Everyone is welcome - so bring a friend or a few! I DO need RSVPs for this event, so that we can book the proper room at the Decatur Club.

We are considering a cash bar - we're still working out the details - so this probably won't be an event for the youngins'. The Decatur Club does not allow outside food (although we'll sneak in some candy!), so you can purchase food from the Decatur Club restaurant, or eat beforehand.

Unless you purchase food or drinks, there is no cost for this event. We will have the donation box out, and you might want to bring a bag of Halloween sized candy to share!

I hope to get a big turnout, this should be a fun event! Can you top Chris' Costume this year?

How was the meetup? Sorry I couldn't make it. We had 2 other parties that night. What made the 24th so popular?

We had a good time! We played Munchkin Bites, Fury of Dracula, and Are You a Werewolf? There was some great costumes, too.

The date worked out best for everyone and we had a good crowd. You'll just have to be there for Christmas Party that we will probably have in December.

Yes it did. I meant for all the parties. I guess with Halloween actually being on a Saturday, a lot of parties were scheduled a week early.

Nothing too difficult to pull; we just have another party at the Decatur Club. Since YOU Chris we were so nice enough to volunteer me, you get to dress up as Santa Claus. winkbiggrin
