I like the idea of unit interchangeability. Whatever makes it easier to play more often :)

I'm totally excited for round two of V&B. Do you have a date in mind yet?

Is there any way to play a mini-game in like 2-3 hours?

Actually there is... we can have a much smaller battle and attempt to really compact the training phase. Then I think it can be done in 3 hours. It will not quite fit with the "average" miniature gamers' idea of a normal game but would be great for those who are not sure they want to try one with the longer time commitment.

And if the new trainee likes it, then he might be willing to play a larger battle... or longer, several civil war battles took more than 1 day.

PS I am going to change add a new thread called Volley & Bayonet, since that title would be more descriptive than another ruleset's name.

No date yet... I have made more brigade bases and have a plan for the ID chits so they'd be more 'generic' not requiring a whole new roster for each battle.

PS see new thread entitled Volley & Bayonet for another group's game in August.
