Hi Ian. We have some people that would like to play MTG, but no one ever wants to set it up. Maybe some people will play with your group. You might also consider hosting a "DG Invitational" or something - post something on our calendar as an actual event and see if you get anyone to show.

How many many people have expressed interest, looking through the message boards I only saw three or four

Yes, three or four have expressed interest. There may, or may not, be more than that. I guess it depends on how much you want more players.

Well the truth is we really dont have a place to play except for Richland. Although there are 6-7 of us that go down to taylorville on a regular basis. I have the credentials and stuff to set up something here in town but no venue is the hard part. CCG would be nice but I dont really think Hinkle is to keen on it. Plus he has That Aaron Stickney kid to run events for him. The way I would like to see things run is not quite what they have in mind.

There is always our Open Game Day venues. For instance, this Tuesday it is Clockwork Pizza. You could always coordinate events to be at these places when we have them. Granted, it may not be as often as you like, but it is something.

Amazingly enough we sometimes get Decatur people up in Bloomington for Friday Night Magic. Some people also go to Taylorville... Depending on when you all meet I might pry some time from my schedule to come and play, it's always nice to get to play..;-)
