Let's just agree that BYOF to Decatur Club is off the table. Now, where do we go from there?

We talked a little at Pathfinder the other night. My house is open. Breanna would go stay with grandma and grandpa for the night so we dont have to worry about that. A potluck here, we could easily hold 25 people. Other than that, Anthony mentioned seeing about Clockwork....

Clockwork is another good idea. Thanks for offering your place, too. We'll nail this down in the next couple of game nights.

A couple of thoughts come to mind - what day do we do it on? Friday the 29th? I don't really want to do it on Sunday the 31st (Halloween) since it's Sunday. Nor would I want to do Saturday the 30th, since that will be Trick or Treat day for those of us with families. So that leaves Friday the 29th. Will Clockwork want us there on a Friday night, and will people still feel comfortable coming in costume to a "public" event?

I think Friday would probably be the best night for it as well. As for the other two questions, I think Clockwork would be ok with it, but I'm not sure.... Maybe they can work some sort of event night into that night as well....? The other part would be something I would be concerned with. I, personally, don't have a problem going anywhere in costume at Halloween. However, some people may not like making a fool out of themselves like I do! biggrin

Normally, we'd be at Clockwork on that last Tuesday of the Month, so we would cancel that and just do Friday. We'd be back in that back room, so we'd have some privacy. Of course, this all hinges on Clockwork's schedule - they might have stuff going on or they might not want us there on a Friday. We'll try to find out.

Why is trick or treating on Saturday? Lol... I show my lack of parental knowledge.

I'm not 100% sure that it will be - it *might* be on Sunday the 31st. But, I can also see the "powers that be" moving it to the Saturday prior so that kids aren't out on a Sunday night. I guess we can put a poll up and see who wants what?

I like Sunday better because of all the other stuff going on that weekend.

Might I also suggest Tuesday, Nov 2 is the Day of the Dead in Mexico and is the Spanish version of Halloween. Nice way to have an event at Clockwork Pizzeria and still celebrate Halloween.

I put in my vote for Friday, but really either Friday or Saturday is good for me. Sunday night would be out of the question for Michelle and I since we couldn't get anyone to watch Brea overnight going into a work week
