I picked up Civ 5 on Steam yesterday. I think it's favorite Civ yet. Anyone else planning on playing it? Maybe we can do some coop.

I played Civ IV for awhile. Pretty good game, but it got kinda old. I didn't play multiplayer tho, so that probably would have made a difference. I'm not good at multiplayer in those kinds of games.

I'm not very good at competivite Civ either, that's kinda the point of playing Coop, you can always beat up on the computer together.

I'm planning on getting it, I just have to find a time where I can lose a month to a game! lol

Well, it's not a mode of play... But you can always just treaty up with each other and fight against the computer together. I suppose it's always possible that in a large game you're on opposite sides of the world.

I bought it, too, but am still learning the basic ropes (though I've played since Civ 2). I actually don't like how little information I see on the main screen - am I missing some feature I can turn on? I want to see as much as I did in Civ 4...

Just the demo so far...the civ games are like video game crack in our house...and my wife is the worst addict (and she hates video games in general)...just one more turn, baby, just one more turn....
